How are games allocated?

Games are allocated amongst players currently joined on the ladder. The ladder tries to pair similar players together.

How frequently are games scheduled?

Games are scheduled every 2 hours.

How is my next opponent determined?

From the list of players currently active on the ladder, you may be randomly assigned an opponent within a range of R-20 to R+20. Players are ordered on Elo rating.

How often can I play the same opponent?

Two players can play against each other at most once every 7 days.

How are players ranked?

Players are ranked on this ladder using the Elo Rating algorithm. A detailed explanation of Elo can be found here.

Players also get an activity bonus of up 80 rating points to encourage more activity on the ladder.

How many games does a player need to stay ranked?

All players with 20 or more completed games in the last 5 months will be ranked on the ladder.
